Footwear Course 3 (Brand Creation) is about creating your own footwear brand and add your own brand name and logo. This can be a Fashion, Casual or Sports Footwear Design. 

• A Brand is a marketing or business concept that helps people identify a company, product, or individual. NIKE is a Brand.
• Logos are images, texts, shapes, or a combination of the three that depict the name and purpose of a business. The NIKE Swoosh is a Logo.

Once you have registered and joined PATF you can find all the information and formats you need to complete the course successfully, in the 4 Course Support Information Folders on the PATF Website.

This is a 5 Phase Course, and it is very important you read all the information in the 4 Course Support Information Folders, before starting the course.

• You must use environment friendly or recyclable material in one of your designs, and you can create your own Brand.
• You must follow the course Guidelines, Timelines and detail your Technical Formats and Storyboards as requested. At the end of each Phase, you must upload all Phase work to the Phase Participant Assessment Folders.
• You will find blank and detailed examples of all Technical Formats in the Course Information Folders F2, Course Formats.
• Your Designs should be functional, comfortable, and attractive.

Please use English where possible.

You will have 60 days to complete the course once you have joined and started Phase 1.

There is a Course Timeline Plan in Course Support Folder F1 which will help you complete the course within the timelines.

You should complete each Phase before starting the next Phase, Starting at Phase 1 and then 2 3 4 5 keeping in numerical order.

PHASE 1 –
Phase 1 is about Reading and follow Course Management and Guidelines, follow the Designs Brief and Create a Design Brief of your own, starting your Research, Create Ideas and Sketches, Downloading and detailing Course Formats. Then uploading all your course work to your Phase 1 Participant Assessment Folders.

PHASE 2 –

In Phase 2 you must Select your 2 best Designs, all the course work related to you 2 Designs. Including your research, 2 Storyboards and Technical Formats and move then to your Phase 2 Participant Assessment Folders.

PHASE 3 –

In Phase 3 you must Develop and add more details to your Designs. Create 2-3D computer images and update all your Formats and 2 Storyboard before uploading them to your Phase 3 Participant Assessment Folders.

PHASE 4 –

Phase 4 is about completing and finalizing your Technical Formats, confirming the making process, updating your 2 Storyboards, and finalizing your designs. Before uploading all your work to your Phase 4 Participant Assessment Folders.

PHASE 5 –

Phase 5 is your final Phase. You should create your Course Presentation showing both your 2 Designs. You should create your 90 second video, answering the 5 question in the Course Support Folder F1 and Finalize your 2 Storyboards. You should then upload all your 5 Phase work to your Phase 5 Participant Assessment Folders.
